In our radiology unit, periapical, panoramic, and cephalometric X-rays, as well as cone-beam computed tomography (CBT) scans, are performed for diagnostic purposes on patients referred by our clinical physicians and private practitioners. Appointments for these procedures are scheduled through the MHRS system at our hospital, and we prioritize performing X-rays on the same day.
Our unit utilizes digital imaging systems. X-ray images taken and scanned using digital devices are archived electronically and sent via network connection to computers in our clinics. X-ray images can also be transferred to CD/DVD and given to the patient.
Radiation safety is of paramount importance in our radiology unit. Personal protective equipment is used during X-ray procedures.
